Existing tunnel backfill injection method "NEW Set Form NF Method"
The NEW Set Form NF method is a construction technique that offers excellent safety during installation, as well as preventing volume shrinkage of the foam after filling, making it a "safe," "reliable," and "high-performance" method!
The "NEW Set Form NF Method" is a backfill injection method that fills the voids behind the lining concrete in repair work for existing tunnels using a rigid foam polyurethane called "Set Form." It was newly registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's New Technology (NETIS) in December 2024 (KT-240144-A). 【Features of the NEW Set Form NF Method】 - Over 1,000 successful cases using 40 times expanded polyurethane. - Responsible construction system supported by more than 30 member companies. - The average increase rate of final injection volume is 132%, making it economical. - Uses HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) as a foaming agent, an environmentally friendly non-fluorine product. - Improved dimensional stability due to HFO remaining stable within the foam. - Possesses isocyanurate bonds and uses HFO as a foaming agent, achieving high thermal decomposition temperature and low internal temperature to prevent smoking accidents. - Compact injection equipment eliminates the need for wide access routes or land. - Can be operated with batteries, making it suitable for narrow construction sites. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
